SIListra Systems contributed to the smartrail 4.0 Innovation Day Security4Safety November 2019 in Zurich. Our Coded Processing solution is part of the "Security for safety with dissimilar software" concept. The approach is to automatically insert diagnostic for random hardware faults directly into the source code of safety critical applications. Our software only solution allows the execution of safety critical applications on COTS server hardware. Because of the high safety and availability requirements (SIL4 and higher) the approach also includes redundant hardware paths and safe voting.
